Biography
Anthony Anene LL.B, BL, BA, MA, fdc is a Senior Associate in Mike Ozekhome LP. He is a result-driven lawyer with passion for professionalism, discernment and sound judgement, with competences in drafting, litigation, legal research, dispute resolution and immigration law.
Anene attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he earned a BA in Philosophy in 1989, followed by an MA from the University of Ibadan in 1991. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2000 after studying law at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Prior to joining Mike Ozekhome LP in 2024, he served as Head of Immigration at the Nigeria High Commission, Kingston, Jamaica, between 2017 and 2021, and thereafter as Comptroller of Immigration, Kogi State, until his retirement in 2024.
