Biography
Benson Akhagbosu Igbanoi is a Managing Partner at Mike Ozekhome LP. He is an alumnus of the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws Degree with honours in 1980. Thereafter he proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos and successfully completed the prescribed course of study in July 1981 with honours, enrolling as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
He was subsequently posted to Plateau State for his NYSC where he served in the Plateau State Ministry of Justice and the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria. In September 1982, he joined the Law firm of O.S Obande & Co., where he remained until 1988, before establishing his own firm, Benson & Co. (Covenant Chambers). He later served as Jos Branch Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (2005–2006), and joined the Law Office of Kola Awodein & Co., Lagos as a Partner before setting up Benson Igbanoi Law Partners in Abuja in 2008. He joined Mike Ozekhome LP in 2018 as Managing Partner.
